Initial Consultation & In-Home Meeting: The initial consultation and in-home meeting allow us to get to know each other. We will learn about your lifestyle, take a closer look at the space you plan to remodel, discuss the goals of your project, make recommendations on how you might best achieve those goals, and understand your vision, style, wants and needs so we can design a space you will truly enjoy. During this process, we will determine if CGU Homes is a good fit for your home remodeling process.

Build Your Team: We will work with you to assemble the best project team: architect, interior designer, and landscape architect. If you need help choosing one or all of these professionals, we are happy to provide as much or as little assistance as you need. In addition, we use top subcontractors and suppliers to guarantee the highest quality building standards and a fantastic client experience.

Showroom Meeting:  Next, we’ll accompany you to showrooms and help you select cabinets, countertops, appliances, finishes, windows/doors, plumbing fixtures, lighting, roof tiles, and so on, from samples you can look at, handle, and compare.

Proposal Presentation: In this phase, we’ll prepare a budget that outlines all the aspects of construction, prepare you for how long your project will take to complete, and what to expect in the end. If a particular decision can’t be made before construction begins, we can help determine accurate allowances with our quality vendors and trades.

Construction Phase: We get to work, communicating with you throughout the project. You will meet with our team as many times as necessary to finalize selections and make decisions on features that are important to you. Once we have completed construction, we will do a final walkthrough to inspect your home and ensure you are delighted.
